What is the GYA Local Community Charity Challenge?
Golf Your Age℠ is an annual charitable golf challenge where participants play as many holes as their age — at any local course, worldwide, within 72 consecutive hours (3 days). Every registration is a donation to the SphereUs Foundation, which funds community care services for your neighbors who need them most: elderly residents, people with disabilities, and families facing hardship right in your county sphere. You're not competing against anyone. You're showing up for your community — one hole at a time.
Where Do I Attempt It? (It's Worldwide)
GYA is a truly worldwide challenge. You choose any golf course near you — any public or private course, anywhere on the planet. We have coverage of 43,000+ courses worldwide through our global course database, powered by OpenStreetMap. Can't find your course? Add it yourself during registration. Your challenge is local by design, but your community of challengers is global.
Who Am I Golfing For?
You're golfing for your neighbors who can't do it themselves. Foundation-approved grantees — residents who qualify due to age, disability, illness, or hardship — receive funded community care services paid for by your GYA contributions. Those services are delivered by local SphereUs community providers, including SUN Youth workers whenever possible. You golf. Your neighbor gets help. A community provider in your county earns. That's the loop.
